530D (E60) with an engine failure. A swirl flap in the manifold fell off and into the engine and caused a major failure. The car requires a new engine, a new one from BMW is  £12,000. We can remove these swirl flaps to avoid this situation. Feel free to Google ‘BMW swirl flaps’ if you own a BMW Diesel from 2001 to 2006 we could save you a lot of money.

X5 (E53) Owned by a very nice repeat customer who is now on his second X5. His previous car had covered 140,000 miles. Both cars have been very reliable with just routine maintenance and servicing.

The owner of this MRoadster should buy a Lottery ticket! It had an engine misfire, the top of the spark plug fell off but luckily it went straight out of the exhaust. It could have got jammed in the piston or valve and required a new engine.

M3 SMG gearbox pump replacement. A lot of people worry about the SMG system but it really is quite simple. Instead of you operating the lever and the clutch it’s all done by a pump. I’m just bleeding and recoding the gearbox in this picture.

An E90 320i on the ramp with an ABS/DSC light on, more about this on the blog page. The Grey M3 was diagnosed with a faulty clutch by a well know breakdown company unfortunately they diagnosed wrong and it was a front brake seized on causing the acrid smell. The silver M3 is mine but needs some 19” wheels!
